Ridgeway Row

Two presses, hand-set type, and paper worth the impression.

Short runs only. We set the type by hand, print it slowly, and tell you the real lead time before you pay.

How it works

Three things worth knowing before you ask

01

Set by hand, one letter at a time

Metal type, pulled from the case and locked up on the bed. It is why the lead time is weeks rather than days, and why the impression is deep enough to read with your thumb.
02

Short runs, heavy paper

A few hundred at a time on cotton stock thick enough to take the press. Long runs and thin paper are somebody else's work and we will say so.
03

The lead time is the lead time

We quote it once and we do not move it. If your date will not fit, you will hear that on the first call rather than the last one.

Wednesday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm

Bring the date and we will tell you if it fits.
